The Zurich Trip part 4 (Zurich to Bratislava)

Well I'm sorry for not writing in a while. I got inundated with school work at the end of the semester and between school and traveling I've had no time for much else. But now the semester is about over it's time for some big blog updates.

After our last crazy night in Zurich we got up very early the next day and Steve drove and I navigated. We got across the Swiss Lichtenstein border fine despite Laura-Ann not having her passport. I think Steve and I were both a little stressed about this Kevin and Laura-Ann were just passed out in the back of the car dead to the world.

Steve and I decided to go see Vaduz again because it was actually daylight out. Unfortunately it was a big foggy. However we did see this group of girls out walking to school and they all had reflective safety vests on which we though was great.
We also found some very verbal goats that I talked to for a few minutes before we got on our way because it was too foggy/cloudy to see anything good from up on the hill.
The houses here were also really amazing they're all 3 and 4 stories but built right into the side of the hills.
I mean this house sort of actually has three "ground" floors. Oh nos!

The majority of our drive was nice an in the daylight just surrounded by beautiful snow topped mountains. We did stop a few times specifically to enjoy the snow and scenery.

Austria's highest waterfall clocking it at 380m or 1,247ftIt is near Krimml Austria.

We found this huge reservoir up in some mountains on the way back. We stopped the water was so blue and there was so much snow. We had some fun in the car and a small snowball fight before booking it home to Bratislava. It was very serene and quiet up there.

The Skoda that could -- this car was great it safely got us everywhere. Despite not liking it much it it topped out at 108mph going downhill with the wind on the autobahn. We had a lot of fun in it and since rented 3 more cars from the same guy.

The rest of the trip was uneventful it was getting dark so we drove straight home. I took over driving after a quick Burger King dinner and that is when I toped Steve's previous 107mph. Other than that we went straight back to our Dorm and then dropped the car off.

  1. It looks beautiful. I'm glad you had such a good time and hopefully now you have that crazy driving out of your system.
